Antropov Deemed Perennially Useless

Jason Blake is considered to be a “late-bloomer.” He was an average player for approximately ten years, and then exploded in 2007 with a 40-goal season. Nik Antropov has been an average player his whole career, and will be for the rest of his life.

“I know I was the best player in our highly publicized pre-season practice… Honestly though, it was all staged,” said Antropov.

“The Leafs organization is just giving the fans false hope. They’re saying that I’m bound to turn around and ‘develop.’ It’s all bullshit.”

GM John Ferguson Jr. felt like he had to defend and market his “up-and-coming” player.

“He’s the shitty player that he always was, and always will be,” said a confused Ferguson.
