The Linesman reporters, while attempting to connect with gay athletes for interviews, spotted Don Cherry at Toronto Pride Week festivities.
"It wasn't me, damnit," said Don Cherry while hanging up the phone angrily.
Our follow-up interview with the hockey guru was merely seconds long. Cherry insisted "it was a look-alike." We felt it had to be Cherry, though, because the only other person who looks like him is Fred Phelps. It definitely wasn't Phelps.
Cherry is well known for his flamboyant style of dress and is easily mistakable for a flaming homosexual. Picture above: Don takes his picture with two happy lesbians.
