Beckham is sticking to his contract with L.A. Galaxy and will be arriving in L.A. in August as planned. That is, if he can ever get the contract separated from his hand.
"I was building a model plane, when all of a sudden, I had a little accident," said Beckham, in his trademark English accent. "I slipped, spilled glue on my hand, and brushed across the contract. Now I can't get it separated from my hand."
When asked why the contract was on his model-building table, he answered: "I got distracted and just left it there by accident."
Victoria called the ambulance. Paramedics quickly arrived and rushed the English super star to the hospital. Thankfully, Beckham is in stable condition.
