At air ports, rail stations and shopping malls around the world, reports are popping up of people, particularly professional basketball players, getting their large toes caught in escalators.
NBA Player Chris Bosh got a Croc-clad foot stuck in an escalator last month at a mall in northern Houston.
"I came home and typed in 'Croc' and 'escalator,' and all these stories came up," said the Raptors all-star forward.
"If I had known, I would have never paid 1000 dollars to have a pair of mutant-sized crocs custom made for me."
"This is worse than any injury I’ve ever had," he added.
