Nobody likes a demotion, especially Damon Allen of the Toronto Argonauts.
"Wah, waahhh, waaaaahhhh," said Allen yesterday.
Allen's job as starting QB was tentatively taken over by Michael Bishop. While sitting on the bench, he cried and whined throughout the game against the Hamilton Ti-Cats. That is, until he was given an old grey Gameboy.
"It made me happy, reminded me of my youth," he said. "Tetris is soothing and fun."
Allen will have his Gameboy around in the future to help keep his emotions under control.
